Getting started

How do I sign up?

Click Start free trial on any page, enter an email and password, and you're in. No credit card needed. You'll then create a child profile with a first name and age range.

Do I need to install an app?

No. Kivolo Kids works in any modern browser on phones, tablets, and laptops. Add it to your home screen for an app-like experience.

How many children can I add?

Up to 6 child profiles per account. Each has its own content filter by age and language.

What's the minimum age?

Content is curated for ages 2 to 8. Below 2, we recommend you sit with your child. Above 8, content will feel too simple.

Subscription & billing

How much does it cost?

Between $0.99 and $4.99 per month, depending on your country's purchasing-power tier. You can see the price on /parents before you sign up.

When am I charged?

During beta (through 2026), we do not auto-charge. We email you before the trial ends. You reply to continue — that's it.

Can I cancel?

Yes, any time. Go to parent cabinet → Subscription → Cancel. Access stays until your paid period ends.

Can I get a refund?

EU/UK customers have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right. Others: contact hello@kivolokids.com — we handle refunds case by case during beta.

Safety & privacy

Do you track my child?

No third-party trackers. No analytics on children's pages. We log what videos were watched only to generate your weekly parent report.

Do you show ads?

Never. Not to your child, not to you.

Are videos safe?

Every video is reviewed by AI (Claude Haiku 4.5) before appearing, plus spot-checks by our team. Videos play via youtube-nocookie.com — no YouTube cookies until your child presses play.

What's a Parental Gate?

A math puzzle that appears before any external link or payment flow. It keeps young kids inside the app and outside the open web.

Content

Which languages are available?

Videos: English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, French. UI: English and Russian fully translated; 18 more languages fall back to English.

How often is new content added?

We add new videos daily via our sync with partner channels. Games and stories are updated monthly.

Can I block a channel or app?

Yes. In the parent cabinet → Child profile → Blocked channels, enter the channel slug. It disappears from that child's view.

Where do bedtime stories come from?

They're generated per-request by Claude (Anthropic). Each story is moderated by a second Claude call before showing. You can save favourites in the cabinet.

Troubleshooting

A video won't play

The video host (YouTube) sometimes blocks embedded playback per channel policy. Try another video; if multiple fail, email us — probably a sync issue on our side.

I forgot my password

Go to the sign-in page, click "Forgot", enter your email. A reset link will be sent (during beta it's manually relayed within 24h).

Something feels wrong

Write to hello@kivolokids.com. A human reads every message within 2 business days.
